Requirements:
  • Accountancy Degree from an accredited university, with at least 5-7 years’ relevant commercial experience, preferably with regional responsibilities.
  • Sound working knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and taxation issues.

Senior Accountant
The ideal candidates will have/must be:
  • CPA, is an advantage.
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in overseeing an entire accounting function. Preference will be given to candidates coming from a service based advertising background.
  • Good understanding of the Philippine statutory requirements (BIR, SEC, etc.).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Document

The role responsibilities include:
  • Ownership of the entire accounting function (GL, AR, AP, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Closing of books, Financial reporting, etc)
  • Coordination with other relevant departments on all closing of books requirements.
  • Analysis/review of balance sheet, income statement and cash flow for compliance with and including revenue recognition, financial statement classification and balance sheet integrity.
  • Coordination on all financial reporting requirements, and ensuring that deadlines are met.
  • Review of monthly accounts schedules, analyses and reconciliations.
  • Technical accounting research and analysis, as needed.
  • Coordination with external auditors on accounting issues and audit requirements.
  • Periodic reporting to the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Board of Investments, and Securities and Exchange Commission.
  • Preparation of reports and statistics detailing financial results.
  • Establish and maintain operating procedures
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of journal entries for the month end close and accounting transactions.
  • Maintain, reconciles and balance sheet ledger accounts.
  • Responsible for preparing analysis and schedules for local management as well as internal and external auditors.
  • Undertake monthly balance sheet reconcilitation
  • Manage the month end cost process
  • Completion of month end, quarterly and half yearly regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Understand tax computations and VAT returns
