The De La Salle University - College of Saint Benilde (CSB), a member institution of the De La Salle University System, started as the College for Career Development of De La Salle University in 1980. It was renamed Community College in 1988. Because of the need to expand, the College moved to its new location at 2544 Taft Avenue, Manila in January 1989. In April 1994, CSB became an autonomous College.

Junior Accounting Assistant-Payables

Qualification Requirements

• BS Accountancy
• At least one year related experience
• Has exemplary skills in working with computers specifically the following software: Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Has pleasing personality
• Dependable and flexible
• Duties and Responsibilities
• Examines Payment Requisition Slip in detail, checks mathematical computation and indicate appropriate accounting entries using the Oracle code (based on PRS distribution as determined by the Accounting Head for Payables)
• Follow-up needed supporting documents as necessary from various departments, officers, suppliers, etc.
• Prepares Disbursements Voucher using the Oracle Payable System (based on PRS distribution as determined by the Accounting Head for Payables).
• Prepare schedule of personal changes of employees due to canteen, PLDT to be forwarded to Payroll Section for salary deduction.
• Prepare schedule of expanded withholding tax from supplier to be forwarded to Tax Monitoring Section for monthly remittances.
• Prepare on daily basis schedule of disbursements vouchers prepared
  

II. Supplementary Functions

1. Handles verification of request and phone queries
2. Assist in encoding of disbursement voucher in Mnuemonics Accounting System
3. Perform other functions that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor from time to time.
