Reporting to the Financial Controller – South Asia, and based in Makati City, Manila. The Financial Controller will be responsible for the Finance , Admin and Fulfillment department in Philippines.
The Financial Controller will handle all finance, tax and financial legal matters for our Philippines offices, including: have primary responsibility for the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of the financial and accounting records for Philippines; manage full accounting closing activities (Monthly Journal Entries, Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation, Regional Treasury, Cash flow etc.); keep proper accounting records and audit trails ; Prepare timely Financial Statements in accordance with GAAP; Closing of full sets of accounts, budgetary planning, variance analysis, statutory reporting, bank liaison & reconciliation; Prepare statistics, sales analysis and performance indicators.

Financial Controller
Requirements:
- Accountancy Degree from an accredited university, with at least 5-7 years’ relevant commercial experience, preferably with regional responsibilities.
- Sound working knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and taxation issues.
- Ability to function in a multi-cultural matrix reporting structure.
- Strong Financial Management and Analytical Skills with an eye for details.
- Proficiency in MS-Excel is critical & knowledge of other MS Office and accounting products, including MYOB.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. Extremely self-motivated.
- Must be articulate in spoken & written English.
- Must have a high degree of comfort working, dealing and negotiating with middle & senior management.
- The candidate should be currently based in Manila
